AllCompass Migrates Network to VoIP Technology using PhoenixSoft’s Cirrus Softswitch

PhoenixSoft customer upgrades legacy platform to enhance network capabilities
 

Phoenix, Arizona…June 11, 2008...PhoenixSoft, Inc., a pioneering provider of next-generation communications platforms for converged networks, announced today that AllCompass Communications Inc. has upgraded its legacy switching platform to PhoenixSoft’s new Cirrus Softswitch solution.  AllCompass provides a variety of pre-paid calling cards that allow consumers to make easy and inexpensive calls worldwide from any phone. 

Prior to the upgrade, AllCompass operated a 20,000-port network consisting of PhoenixSoft’s legacy CMS switch and a few smaller NACT switches.   AllCompass selected PhoenixSoft’s new Cirrus Softswitch to integrate the multiple platforms and migrate to advanced, yet low-cost, VoIP applications.  The Cirrus Softswitch allows service providers to add numerous capabilities that positively affect business and network operations.  For example, providers benefit from increased revenue potential through new features, as well as decreased costs through simpler, more efficient network architectures.
