Iraq Telecommunications Company Itisaluna Selects PhoenixSoft’s
Cirrus Softswitch for Nationwide Network
Phoenix,
Arizona...February 19, 2008...PhoenixSoft, Inc., a pioneering
provider of next-generation communications platforms for converged
networks, announced today that Itisaluna Iraq (“Itisaluna”), an
emerging nationwide telecommunications operator serving the republic
of Iraq, has selected PhoenixSoft’s Cirrus Softswitch for its
nationwide network servicing pre-paid and post-paid calling
services.
Itisaluna services include nationwide
fixed-line voice, broadband and wireless products and will be based
on the latest technologies and network architectures. With the
Cirrus Softswitch deployment, the company expects to establish new
revenue streams, offer affordable international calling, attract
customers from other operators and increase voice traffic on the
Itisaluna network.
