RS Associates Selects PhoenixSoft’s Cirrus Softswitch for International Voice Network

Phoenix, Arizona…July 17, 2008...PhoenixSoft, Inc., a pioneering provider of next-generation communications platforms for converged networks, announced today that RS Associates has deployed the Cirrus Softswitch for its hosted corporate voice application.

RS Associates provides economical telecommunications services to business enterprises in South America. The company operates the Cirrus Softswitch solution from its Miami, Florida location. Currently, RS Associates has connected Caracas, Venezuela; Bogota, Colombia; Medellin, Colombia; and Quito, Ecuador to its virtual voice network, and plans to expand its footprint globally.

To provide voice services to its business customers, RS Associates links a customer’s PBX to its Cirrus Softswitch network. Customers then have access to a full feature set, a variety of applications and low-cost long distance service. Since the Cirrus Softswitch works in either a VoIP or TDM environment, calls can terminate on the Public Switched Telephone Network.
