25 Year Industry Veteran Brings Sales & Customer Management
Skills from NACT to PhoenixSoft
Robert J. Bona Joins PhoenixSoft as New Sales
Director
Phoenix, Arizona...February 24, 2009...PhoenixSoft, the
leading provider of next-generation communications platforms for
converged networks, today announced that Robert J. Bona has joined
PhoenixSoft’s sales team, where he will help service providers
implement solutions based on PhoenixSoft’s award-winning Cirrus
softswitch platform.
Bona
comes to PhoenixSoft from NACT Telecommunications, where he spent
almost ten years in direct sales and management activities. During
his tenure at NACT, Robert was consistently recognized as a top
performer securing new accounts. As PhoenixSoft’s new Sales
Director, Bona’s charter will be to cultivate new accounts, and to
work with PhoenixSoft’s management and support teams to ensure the
success of all of PhoenixSoft’s customers.
“Robert’s energy, his focus and his extensive contacts in the
industry are just what we’re looking for, as we move to the
next stage of
our company’s growth,” said PhoenixSoft co-founder Paul Amick. “I’m
looking forward to working with Robert, and to leveraging his
talents in order to serve our customers.”
“I think
PhoenixSoft is in the right place, at the right time – with
award-winning technology and applications that help service
providers deliver broadband class 4 and class 5 offerings on a
single platform,” said Robert J. Bona. “PhoenixSoft’s
sales & support model is also a strong
part of the value proposition, because it is highly tailored to meet
the needs of their customers.”
Since
the beginning of the year, PhoenixSoft has announced agreements with
eight different customers, who all plan to deploy their
VoIP
switching applications in the first quarter. Earlier
this month, at ITEXPO in Miami,
PhoenixSoft received TMC’s “Best-of-Show” award for its Cirrus
Softswitch platform. At the show, PhoenixSoft announced an NACT
Migration Plan, as well as a hosted offering that makes it
easier for service providers to IP-enable their networks. And next
week, PhoenixSoft’s management team will be on hand at
Comptel Plus Spring 2009, in Dallas. Anyone interested in
meeting with PhoenixSoft at Comptel should contact Paul Amick at
pamick@phoenixsoft.com.
