PhoenixSoft’s Cirrus Softswitch Brings 50,000 New Accounts to
TeleCents Communications
Phoenix, Arizona…July 17, 2008...PhoenixSoft, Inc., a
pioneering provider of next-generation communications platforms for
converged networks, announced today that TeleCents Communications is
experiencing increased voice traffic after integrating PhoenixSoft
switching technology. TeleCents, a subsidiary of iTeknik Holding
Corporation (Pink Sheets: ITKH), upgraded its network with
PhoenixSoft’s Cirrus Softswitch in April 2008.
Since then, TeleCents has added 50,000 new accounts to its
telecommunications business from its customer, Pragati, Inc. Pragati,
Inc. is a telecommunications company that uses TeleCents's systems
for outgoing calls to India. TeleCents expects Pragati to move more
accounts to its new switching system in the future.
“Because the new Cirrus Softswitch is far more cost effective and
faster, we expect to add many more new accounts," said Jeff Lauzon,
CEO of TeleCents Communications, Inc. “We have
worked very hard to develop our infrastructure in a way that would
enable us to obtain significant new business and enhance our bottom
line," Lauzon added.
“This significant increase in traffic for TeleCents represents just
one of the many benefits of, and another success story for, our
Cirrus Softswitch,” said Paul Amick, PhoenixSoft’s co-founder.
“We’ve seen the Cirrus Softswitch have tremendous impact on numerous
telecom operations and, like with TeleCents, deliver a quick return
on investment.”
The Cirrus Softswitch works with TeleCents’ existing gateway and
provides greater carrier interconnectivity on a global basis. It
allows network service providers to maximize revenue by adding
numerous enhanced features and IP applications. Some of these
applications include prepaid and post paid Class 4 and Class 5
features, broadband calling card services, PIN-less dialing, Retail
Web Portals, Web-based administration, comprehensive reporting,
real-time billing and CDR access, and voice mail.
