Avantel Deploys PhoenixSoft CMS

PhoenixSoft’s CMS platform selected for reliability and enhanced features

Phoenix, Arizona...February 21, 2006...PhoenixSoft, Inc., a provider of telephony solutions for converged networks, announced today that Avantel has installed the PhoenixSoft CMS platform into their communications network.  The CMS replaces Avantel’s legacy communications platform serving the company’s pre-paid calling requirements throughout Mexico.

As the second largest carrier in Mexico, Avantel required increased reliability and enhanced features to keep pace with its growing customer base.  In addition, Avantel deployed a nationwide pre-paid solution.
