Phone1 Selects PhoenixSoft for Network Expansion
PhoenixSoft deploys CMS platform to serve Dallas metropolitan
area
Phoenix, Arizona...March 29, 2006...PhoenixSoft, Inc., a
provider of telephony solutions for converged networks, announced
today that Phone1, Inc. (“Phone1”), a provider of international
payphone services, has selected the PhoenixSoft CMS platform for its
network expansion.
Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Phone1 offers very competitive
rates for international and domestic calls from Phone1-enabled
payphones. The company targets the fastest growing segments of the
population and the rapidly increasing immigration from Mexico,
Central America, South America and the Caribbean region.
Distinguished by yellow handsets, Phone1 payphones provide
easy-to-use coin-based calling services. The unique service allows
users to call any location for as little as one dollar, with no
connection fees, first minute fees, surcharges, or hidden charges.
To serve a growing market in the Dallas metropolitan area, Phone1
selected the PhoenixSoft CMS platform for its network expansion
project. The CMS will provide the underlying switching and billing
functionality for Phone1’s calling network.
